The Wawa Beer Tour Returns (Wawa, PA) – For many Wawa, a chain of convenience stores and gas stations located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Florida is an almost a cult ‘gas meets food’ experience. But Wawa also does craft beer.

In 2018 Wawa launched Wawa Winter Reserve Coffee Stout, a 6.5% ABV special release that it did with Delco, Pennsylvania’s 2SP Brewing Company. And in December it is returning that collaborative coffee stout along with a 10% ABV barrel-aged version to the Wawa outpost in Middletown, PA. But that’s only the beginning of the three state Wawa Craft Beer Tour.

On December 13, the Wawa Beer tour heads south to Richmond, Virginia, where 2SP collaborated with Hardywood Park on a limited release they describe as a breakfast beer. Wawa Coffee Cake Reserve Stout combines Wawa’s Winter Reserve Coffee with an oatmeal stout and vanilla bean, cinnamon spice, and brown sugar. Then on February 29th the beer tour wraps up in Tampa, FL with the release of Wawa Snowbird Reserve Vanilla Porter, a 6% ABV limited release that 2SP did with Coppertail Brewing… Whew!, Rumor Mill: Craft Brewers Conference Registration Opens, Wawa Beer Tour Returns
