HENRY’S UPSTAIRS Is your right hand jealous of the frosty beverage held in your left? Then perhaps Upstairs should be your destination. Upstairs is Henry’s version of the traditional speakeasy; stylishly tucked away in what once was the hops storage room of the brewery, it boasts amenities like a full-bar, high-end pool tables, and more. Start your night off right with a few drinks over a game of pool, Upstairs will provide enough entertainment to occupy both of your hands. HISTORY: The restaurant pays homage to the Blitz-Weinhard Brewery, which brewed beer on site for more than 140 years. Henry’s Tavern, which now offers over 100 beers on tap, occupies what was once the brewery’s power house. The original brewhouse is now the dining room and bar area, the Weinhard Brewery smokestack, an iconic element preserved in the development of Henry’s, is clearly visible from the courtyard and the lounge and kitchen areas now fill what was once the malt storage building. Today, Henry’s combines its rich history with an avant garde approach to beer inspired food and a dedication to local brews, making Henry’s a true Portland OR-iginal.
