Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out For
So many beers, So little time… Abita has partnered with a true Louisiana coffee brewer and they’ve done something special together. We’ll have more on that for you – plus we’ve some interesting new releases from Westbrook and Sierra Nevada that you’ll want to check out.

Down Is Out (Portland, OR) – Widmer Brothers recently introduced their newest spring seasonal and it may be familiar to those of you who partook in their now-retired Rotator IPA Series. Hopside Down India-Style Pale Lager is an aggressively hopped 6.7% ABV IPL, which takes its lead from the traditional IPA, but is cold-fermented with lager yeast for a crisp, clean finish.

Caught Milking It (Abita Springs, LA) – Abita Brewing’s newest big bottle format unites two Louisiana brands as the year gets going. Abita partnered with PJ’s Coffee to add a true Louisianan espresso flavor to their new 6% Milk Stout. Abita Macchiato Espresso Stout is available nationwide in 22 oz. bombers and on draft for a limited time.
