, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForBeach Housed (Dover, DE) – Last summer, the ACB crew rented a house on the Eastern shore to plan for 2014 and have some fun together. We didn’t get much work done but we did drink a lot of beer, and one of our favorites came from the Dominion Brewing Company. Dominion Beach House is the perfect beach companion – a 5% ABV Bohemian Pilsner that is both brewed and dry hopped with Saaz hops for a spicy, clean bitterness. Beach House is available now throughout the Mid-Atlantic – so you know what to do.

Time Goes Fast When You’re Having Fun (Houston, TX) – The Saint Arnold Brewing Company will celebrate its 20th Anniversary next month, and it has brewed a special beer to celebrate. Saint Arnold 20th Anniversary Ale is an English-style Barley Wine brewed with and featuring Saint Arnold’s house yeast. This celebratory beer will hit stores in 22 oz. bombers on June 9th – so be ready.

Another New Session IPA (San Diego, CA) – It seems like every week, there’s a new session IPA being released and now Ballast Point Brewing has entered the fray. Their newest release, Even Keel Session IPA, tips the ABV scales at a solid 3.8% while delivering outstanding hop flavor. Right now, it’s only available at all three of their San Diego-area tasting bar locations but the brewery is promising that it will be coming to the rest of the world over time.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForGolden Days in the Grand Tetons (Victor, ID) – The Grand Teton Brewing Company has just announced the second offering in their 2014 Cellar Reserve Series and we’re pretty damned excited about it. Splash Down Belgian-Style Golden Ale is a smooth and crisp beer that starts sweet and finishes dry. Pale in color and brewed using European Noble hops, Splash Down is complex and inviting, with intriguing spiciness created during fermentation by Belgian Abbey yeast. This 7.5% ABV Belgian-Style Ale is perfect for summertime drinking and also for prolonged cellaring and it’s out there now, so don’t miss this one.

A Seersucker Summer (Abita Springs, LA) – Summer in the South is a time for backyard gatherings, cook-outs, and seersucker suits. It’s also a time for Pilsners, and Abita Brewing is rolling out a good one. Seersucker Summer Pils is a 4.8% ABV blast of Louisianan summer brewed with carapils malts and hopped in the German tradition. It’s also one of the best things that Abita does.
