So many beers, So little time…Newbies is your essential map to the “best of the best” and the hottest new craft beers rolling out each week. From Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel No. 6 to the latest from Victory and Funky Buddha – we’ve got all kinds of new releases you’re going to want to chase down.

So welcome to another edition of Newbies -Your ultimate guide to great new craft beers!

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForCoronado And Cigar City Get Together Again (Coronado, CA) – The second of two collaborations between San Diego’s Coronado Brewing Company and Tampa’s Cigar City is now hitting shelves and taps across the country. The highly anticipated Jurata Baltic Porter is an 8% ABV winter seasonal that pulls together the talents of craft brewing on both the left and right coasts.

Deschutes Lines Up More Bombers (Bend, OR) – Deschutes Brewery will be adding three fan favorites to their year-round lineup and bottling them in 22 oz. bombers. Look for Cinder Cone Red to be joining their experimental Pale Ale, Armory XPA, and the 5.2% ABV Pine Mountain Pilsner for an early March rollout.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForWorth Smuggling (Oakland Park, FL) – Funky Buddha Brewery has just announced their next beer that will be landing in bottles. Nib Smuggler, their sinfully rich Chocolate Milk Porter, will be released exclusively at the brewery on March 6 in a limited run of 22 oz. bottles.

Craic Addicts Rejoice! (Novato, CA) – Moylan’s Brewery announced that their award-winning quadruple IPA is now available for the first time in bottles. Moylan’s Hop Craic (pronounced “Crack”) XXX IPA is their bold 10.4% ABV imperial that’s known for its aggressive hop aroma and wily ways.

Double Mountain Ups the Kriek! (Hood River, OR) – The Double Mountain Brewery has just announced that their 2012 Belgian-style Sour Ales are still available in their taproom but that they won’t be for long. Devil’s Kriek is their 8.8% ABV Sour Ale that’s brewed with Bing cherries and the 9.5% ABV Tahoma Kriek is similar, except it’s brewed using Rainier cherries.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForBishop’s Barrel Rolling Out (Houston, TX) – Our friends at the Saint Arnold Brewing Company are releasing the latest in the brewery’s small batch series of barrel-aged beers and we’re pretty psyched about it. Saint Arnold Bishop’s Barrel No. 6 is an imperial pumpkin stout that has spent the past nine months aging in oak barrels that previously were used by Appleton Estate to age their rum. Bishop’s Barrel No. 6 is the third Saint Arnold beer to feature the brewery’s imperial pumpkin stout recipe, and due to the small amount of beer produced from the barrels, it will only be available in pubs and restaurants throughout Texas and Louisiana.

Swingers(Downingtown, PA) – The Victory Brewing Company has just announced the return of their popular spring seasonal and we’re happy for them. Swing Session Saison is a 4.5% ABV Belgian-style ale that’s light and brewed with spices. And it’s out there now in both 12 oz. bottles and on draft – so you know what to do.
