So many beers- So little time…Dogfish Head’s tribute to the Grateful Dead is returning just in time for the band’s latest tour. We’ll have that for you – plus we’ve some new releases from Victory and Upslope that sound exceptionally awesome as well.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForA Passion Play (Denver, CO) – Crooked Stave has a new Petit Sour Series release coming out tomorrow (Wednesday, June 3rd) that also sounds worthy of a road trip. Crooked Stave’s Petite Sour Passion Fruit is a 5.5% ABV Mixed Fermentation Ale that’s aged in Oak and infused with over a pound per gallon of passion fruit juice.

Dead Headed (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head’s legendary collaboration with the Grateful Dead is back, and with a new look. A big deal for both beer lovers and Dead Heads. Dogfish Head American Beauty is a 9% ABV Imperial Pale Ale brewed (appropriately we think) with organic granola. The new batch of this “beauty” is available now on draft and in 750-ml bottles throughout Dogfish Head’s distribution network. 

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForA New Manhattan Project (Boulder, CO) – Upslope Brewing has a new addition to their popular Lee Hill Series and it sounds way interesting. Upslope Manhattan Style Rye Ale is a massive 10.4% ABV ale that was aged in Maryland-style Rye Whiskey barrels in an effort to mimic the direction of a Manhattan cocktail. Look for this version of the infamous “Manhattan Project” to be released at the brewery (in 19.3oz cans) on June 4th.

A Moving Victory (Downing town, PA) – Victory’s ever-evolving IPA series, Moving Parts, has tweaked things up with their newest addition. Victory Moving Parts 4 is a 7% ABV celebration of an IPA that’s always changing and this version basks in Citra, Mosaic and Mandarina hops. And it’s out there now (on draft and in 220z bottles) – so you know what to do.

, Newbies – New Releases That You Want to Look Out ForThere Will Be Blood (Portland, ME) – Allagash has an exciting new special release that just might be worth a road trip. Allagash Invisible Orange is a 9% ABV Belgian Style porter aged in French oak wine barrels for 18 months and infused with blood orange juice. It’s available now, but won’t be for long and you’ll have to travel to the brewery if you want it.
