2020 is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the season with a variety of ambitious new offerings that are fun and cold weather-ready.

Margarita Timed (Garland, TX) – Due to popular demand Lakewood Brewing is making a Small Batch Can Series offering from 2019 its newest seasonal spring/summer seasonal. Brewed with agave, orange peel, key lime and lime juice and a hint of sea salt, Lakewood Muy Importante Margarita Mexican Lager is a 4.7% ABV patio pleaser that combines the best of both worlds.

Low-Cal Madness (Cincinnati, OH) – In March MadTree Brewing will be  debuting a new addition to its year-round portfolio that’s both full-flavored and lower in calories. Brewed with outdoor adventure in mind and beer that won’t slow you down,  MadTree Ramble On is a 4% ABV juicy IPA packed with BIG grapefruit and orange citrus tones, yet only 106 calories. The Ramble On can will be the first MadTree product to sport the 1% for the Planet logo, an organization the brewery joined this year to commit to donating 1% of sales to non-profits focused on environmental sustainability.

A Jack That Has Your Back (Paso Robles, CA) – – Firestone Walker also has an exciting new release that was created for beer lovers who keep an active and healthy lifestyle, but don’t want to sacrifice flavor for fewer calories. A beer that David Walker calls “The best tasting low calorie Hazy IPA the you will ever have,” Firestone Walker Flyjack is a 4% ABV India Pale Ale with only 96 calories.

Brewed as a homage to its hometown of Dallas, Texas, Deep Ellum DTX Golden Ale is a 4.8% ABV refresher that melds a unique blend of pilsner malts with a subtle hop character.

Appeal Breaker (Yakima, WA) – Bale Breaker Brewing, a family-owned brewery located in the legendary Yakima Valley, has a juicy new addition to its 2020 portfolio. Described by the brewery as a “West Coast spin on the New England IPA tradition,” Bale Breaker Hazy L IPA is a 6.2% ABV India Pale Ale with a mellow bitterness and surprisingly crisp body.
