Collaborations, New BrewDog Collaborations For 2019

BrewDog is kicking off 2019 in the ‘spirit of collaboration” with some of the UK’s most exciting brewers. Special cutting-edge releases fueled on shared ideas a passion for serious beer.

BrewDog & Northern Monk – Tokyo Death

For the first of what will be three collaborative creations set for release of what will three separate releases over the next two month…BrewDog invited Northern Monk’s Russell and Fraser Bisset up to Ellon Scotland compound in early December and with winter well on its way the decision was made to brew something big and dark.

A mashup of Tokyo BrewDog’s legendary 12% Imperial Stout and Northern Monk’s Death another acclaimed Stout with decadent chocolate tones, Tokyo Death is a 15% ABV monster that will debut the last week in January.

BrewDog & Buxton Brewery– (Not Yet Named Imperial Stout)

Just before Christmas BrewDog was joined by Geoff, Denis and Greig from the Devonshire, England’s Buxton Brewery and given the time of year everybody wanted to do a stout as well.

Taking its lead from Rain Shadow, Buxton’s brooding heavyweight stout and BrewDog’s deep amber and uber-smooth Rip Tide, a Scottish take the Russian Imperial direction this as yet unnamed dry stout is currently conditioning in tank at BrewDog’s Scotland headquarters and will be out very soon.

Collaborations, New BrewDog Collaborations For 2019BrewDog & Verdant Brewing – (Not Even Conceived Yet)

And at the end of the month BrewDog will be joined by Verdant Brewing crew.

And even though the style has yet to be decided, given that Cornwall-based brewery’s penchant for crafting intensely hoppy beers, we’re guessing that at the very least, it won’t be a stout.
