Fall is on and American craft brewers are addressing the season with an intriguing roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.

A Dangerously Easy Drinking Dark Ale (Cape May NJ) – Cape May Brewing has returned an award-winning fall seasonal that’s balanced and smooth thanks to just the right touch of honey. Brewed to perfection with Jersey Fresh certified honey, Cape May Honey Porter is a robust yet approachable 5.4% ABV Porter with layers of flavors that give way to a light finish.

“Honey Porter is a beer that got its start when I was homebrewing in my Brooklyn bathtub, and the recipe as a whole hasn’t changed much since,” says Cape May Brewing Company CEO Ryan Krill. “We pride ourselves in providing the same experiences people know and love every time they take a sip or open a can, and the same is certainly true for this beer”

First brewed at Cape May in October of 2011 Honey Porter won a bronze medal at the 2019 Great American Beer Festival.

Hoppy Weather (Hershey, PA) – Tröegs Independent Brewing is introducing a new IPA that’s epic on so many levels.

Built with a sturdy grain bill of pilsner malt, Vienna malt and wheat, and hopped out of its mind on a combination of Citra, Sabro, Sultana and Simco, Tröegs HopCyclone is a massive 9% ABV Hazy IPA with bigtime ripe pineapple, soft citrus and juicy peach notes.

The art for HopCyclone was conjured up by Art of Tröegs alum Devin Watson. Fans of the brewery’s Double IPA fans might remember the Candyland-inspired art he did for LolliHop India Pale Ale.

A Lager To Fall For (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing is returning a popular Moon Room Series release, an exceptional line of beers showcasing the world’s most interesting lagers. One of our favorite beer styles, especially as fall approaches, Ecliptic Moon Room Oktoberfest Lager is an uber-balanced 6% ABV Märzen Lager with a rich and toasty mouthfeel and a crisp clean finish.

A Porter “To Die For” (Longmont, CO) – Oskar Blues is returning popular seasonal which has developed a rabid cult following over the years. Seamlessly melding balanced notes of bittersweet cacao and creamy coconut, Oskar Blues Death By Coconut is an award-winning 6.5% ABV Porter that earned a silver medal at the GABF in the chocolate beer category.
