Summer is fading and American craft brewers are addressing the changing season with an interesting roster of beers you’re gonna want to have around.

And now the Michigan-based brewer has a new addition to its growing Oberon family of beers that was brewed to pair smartly with the colder seasons. Crafted with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with a deeper fruit notes, Bell’s Oberon Eclipse is a 6.3% ABV citrus Wheat Ale brewed with orange and coriander.
“A lot of people think the time change signals an end to their days of summer fun,” said Carrie Yunker, Executive Vice President of Bell’s Brewery. “And, while it’s true summer is behind us, we instead want to encourage fans that it’s all about perspective. With Oberon Eclipse, we’re excited to offer fans an Oberon that now fits perfectly with the season.”
A Tall Order (San Francisco, CA) – More drinkers’ than ever are craving beers with bigger hoppy flavors and a punched up alcohol content, and 21st Amendment Brewing is answering that call with a new addition to their IPA family that’s exclusively available in 19.2oz cans, and on draft. Described by the brewery as a “gravity- defying” year-round, 21st Amendment Tall Hat Imperial IPA is a 9% ABV India Pale Ale boasting a gravitational pull of bright malt flavors layered with a firm bitterness and amplified with grapefruit, tangerine and stone fruit hop aromas.
“This was a fun beer to work up and create and play with ingredients that give Tall Hat a brighter flair,” Shaun O’Sullivan, Co-Founder and Brewmaster at 21st Amendment Brewery, said. “We’re adding light Munich malt and a touch of rice supporting the three-way punch with Centennial, Mosaic and Comet hops; oozing with zesty grapefruit and tangerine aromas.”
