May is ON and American craft brewers are addressing the warming weather with an intriguing roster of refreshing beers you’re gonna want to have around as things heat up.
Stone Brewing’s Most Requested Beer of All Time (Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing is heeding its fan’s wishes and returning pitch black classic that is the brewery’s #1 most requested beer ever and we’re as excited as they are. Retired in 2015 with all too brief appearances ever since then, Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA a 9% ABV legend that melds the instincts of a West Coast-Style India Pale Ale with the roasty robustness of an Imperial Stout.
‘Black IPAs aren’t new, but they’re still pretty hard to come by,” said Jeremy Moynier, Stone Sr. Manager of Brewing & Innovation. “When people experience this beer for the first time it’s like they can’t grasp how something with such distinct piney hop flavor pours so dark, but the coffee and chocolate notes complement amazingly. Our fans can’t seem to get enough of this beer, so we’ve gone ahead and brewed them some more, but only for another short run…Original recipe. Original artwork.”
Can’t Beat The Reaper (Munster, IN) – Three Floyds Brewing, has a new addition to its boundary-pushing craft beer portfolio that we can’t wait to get our hands on. The brewery’s first year-round West Coast IPA offering, 3 Floyds Turbo Reaper is a medium-bodied 7% ABV India Pale Ale with a moderate bitterness and notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and mango.
We went with a West Coast IPA because we wanted to create a bright, hoppy, and drinkable IPA that you can see through,” says Brewmaster Chris Boggess. “This beer leans a little more modern with its tropical hop aroma and flavor, plus a citrusy backbone.”
Hit The Road! – Wisconsin Brewing has partnered with the legendary Harley-Davidson motorcycle company on a new non-alcoholic beer that made for riding. Crafted with the finest ingredients, Harley-Davidson Road King offers a bold and flavorful profile that mirrors the spirit of the open road. This non-alcoholic beer is perfect for Harley-Davidson riders and fans seeking a refreshing brew without compromising on taste or quality.
Road King comes in eye-catching 16 oz cans designed by Dirty Donny, an artist licensed to use the famous Rat Fink style art originated by the legendary pop artist Ed Roth.
