A Trail Pilsner (Hershey, PA) –   Tröegs Independent Brewing has joined The Nature Conservancy in its effort to protect Pennsylvania’s Kittatinny Ridge, an ecologically important 185-mile chain of forested Appalachian Mountains that runs through Pennsylvania. And as part of that effort they’ve brewed a beer that’s perfect for taking on woodland trails.

Available in 16-ounce cans throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Washington, DC, and in parts of New York, Tröegs Trail Day is an abundantly dry-hopped German Pilsner with crisp, clean notes of biscuit, dried spice and a hint of citrus.

“We grew up in the shadow of the Kittatinny Ridge and it passes within 10 miles of the brewery,” says Tröegs founding brother Chris Trogner, “so we know this land well. And few things are more important to brewing beer than clean water. We’re proud to be working with The Nature Conservancy to help protect a place that does so much for Pennsylvania and beyond.”

Unchained (Bend, OR) – After a 4 year break, Deschutes Brewing has returned a fan favorite that was first named after a big mountain bike race in the brewery’s hometown of Bend, Oregon.  A melding of styles, a hoppy Belgian-style Witbier brewed with orange peel and coriander, as well as the traditional IPA, Deschutes Chainbreaker is a 5.2% ABV White India Pale Ale that’s been away way to long.

Deep copper hued and sporting a creamy beige-colored head, Anderson Valley Fall Hornin’ Pumpkin Ale is a 6% ABV Pumpkin Ale with a caramelized malt character and highlights of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and seasonal spices that never overpower.

Altered States (Downers Grove, IL) – Alter Brewing has released its third seasonal of 2020 and its debut marks the coming of fall. A smooth and roasty homage to the drink of choice at Oktoberfest celebrations around the world, Alter Festbier is a true-to style 6% ABV Märzen Lager with warm malt notes and delicate hop aromatics.
