These are no longer normal times…So why drink something normal?

And we’ve more new releases that pair smartly with COVID-19 drinking games.

A Rosé Collaboration Returns (Washington, DC) – The summer of 2020 will long be remembered for a lot of things…not all especially fondly. But Washington’s DC Brau and South Jersey’s Cape May Brewing hope to make it all a little rosier with the joint release and return of their popular 2018 collaboration that they originally crafted to debut at SAVOR.

Brewed with more than 700 pounds of strawberry and peach puree, Rosé du Gosé is a simple, yet complex 4% ABV brew that boasts fruit-forward flavors and aromas with distinct sour notes, a light body and crisp dry finish.

“It is such a playful take on a kettle sour,” says Brandon Skall, CEO & Co-Founder of DC Brau. “It has a touch of salinity, just enough to hit the gose style right on the nose and the blush character makes this Rosé the perfect alternative to its cousin from Sancerre.”

“The overlap between sour, fruit, refreshing, crushable, and perfect-summer-sipper lines up perfectly here with Rosé du Gosé dead center of this beautiful 5-way Venn-diagram,” added Cape May’s Innovation Director Brian Hink.

Party Like it’s 1985 (Ft Collins, CO) – For the longest time New Belgium Brewing was defined by what it didn’t offer, an IPA. But the introduction of the Voodoo Ranger IPA line changed that, and its limited release variations have ALL become hot sellers. And its newest Voodoo Ranger release builds upon its future while celebrating the past. Voodoo Ranger 1985 IPA is a 6.7% ABV juicy India Pale Ale with big mango, pineapple and papaya aromatics that New Belgium suggests “takes you back to the future of hazy IPAs.”

Bursting with welcome citrus and berry notes, Smallmouth IPA is a 4.4% ABV India Pale Ale brewed for beer fans who seeks quality refreshment and flavor without all those calories.

Smooth Operator (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing has a new addition to its Sour Smoothie Series that’s unapologetic about being fruity because that’s the point. Crafted with a ridiculous amount of raspberry, blackberry, and blueberry, Hi-Wire Very Berry Sour Smoothie is a tart yet balanced 5.5% ABV special release with a refreshing finish that lingers.
