We don’t have to tell you that the Big Game is nearing. Especially with all the Big Beer companies dropping their new Super Bowl LVII ads. These commercials can get pricy to produce and are equally expensive to air so brewers start dropping them early to up their bang for the buck…
And here’s some new ones that are kinda fun…
Sam Adams Returns “Your Cousin From Boston”
Samuel Adam’s returns to its beloved “Your Cousin From Boston” character for a spot to air during the Big Game on February 12 in six markets including New York, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Atlanta and of course … Boston.
Filmed across multiple locations in the city, “A Brighter Boston” stars Samuel Adams super-fan, “Your Cousin From Boston” (Greg Hoyt) in a dream sequence that flips classic Boston clichés on their head and imagines a world of kinder and gentler Bostonians. Featuring celebrity cameos from friends including beloved comedian Lenny Clarke and Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett (who in this alternative Boston doesn’t talk trash), the spot takes Samuel Adams back to its roots.

Busch Light Pokes Fun At Sarah McLachlan’s Animal-Shelter Shtick
Busch Light builds on is toutdoorsy beer image with the help of Grammy- award-wining singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan, who’s not too proud to parody her own animal shelter routine. It also features the brand’s “Busch Guy” who has his own following.
Budweiser Goes Traditional With “Six Degrees of Bud”
Budweiser’s new Super Bowl ad suggests that people who share the same spirit share the beer in “Six Degrees of Bud” a reference to both a “six-pack” of beer and the common axiom that everyone is just “six degrees from Kevin Bacon.” Unfortunately the only thing missing is Kevin Bacon, although he does do a voiceover in the commercial.
