Like beer and music, grilling with a cold beer on hand is a celebration of life for many of us, especially as the weather warms up.
And as part of the first wave of its “Summer Loves Beer” program, Miller Lite has introduced Beercoal a beer-infused charcoal that is available now in 4-pound bags for $11.99 online store.
“Grilling and beer are a classic summertime pairing, and now, with the first-ever beer-infused charcoal, we’ve combined them to really create the taste of summer,” Anne Pando, director of marketing for Miller Lite told Beer & Beyond.
“Whether you’re firing up the grill, celebrating with Dad or just hanging out with your favorite people, nothing goes better and we’re excited to show our drinkers all the ways they can do that.
Beercoals’s kick off comes at a good time for the brewer as Miller Lite finished the first quarter strong.
Along with another prominent competitor, Coors Light, Miller Lite posted their best combined industry share performance in five years. Miller Lite’s revenue grew by more than 7% in 2021 and that momentum continued into the first quarter of 2022.
And in addition to the company’s Beercoal the company is returning its Americans packaging this summer.
“It’s some of the most popular packaging out there,” Pando says. “Every year, we look forward to seeing what kind of amazing displays our distributors and retailers come up with to celebrate summer holidays – and we know this year will be no different.”
“More and more drinkers are considering Miller Lite,” Pando added. “We hope that continues, and we think our summer plans will contribute to its growth.”
