Beavertown Extravaganza
Beavertown Brewery will be hosting a massive beer festival for later this year that they’re playfully calling the Beavertown Extravaganza.
On September 8th and 9th London Town’s cutting-edge craft beer leader will be bringing 60 brilliant brewers to the Printworks London for a beerganza of massive proportions.
Very much in the tradition of Central California’s famed Firestone Walker Invitational, the Beavertown Extravaganza will serve as both an endorsement and a celebration of, not just the UK’s considerable brewing scene, but also the world’s.
You don’t get invited to Beavertown’s extravaganza unless you matter…and the list of breweries attending is killer!
This year’s festival will include big-time names from the United Kingdom’s growing brewing community (Cloudwater, Buxton, Siren) seasoned players from Europe (Omnipollo, To Øl) and brewing leaders from the states (3 Floyds, Modern Times, Dogfish Head and Lost Abbey).
And the emphasis here is on great breweries and FRESH BEER. The American brewers will reportedly be flying their beers in (rather that shipping them which takes more time) to ensure that everything tastes incredibly bright.
The 2017 London Craft Beer Festival
In April The London Craft Beer Festival will be celebrating its 5th anniversary and changing things up to better accommodate its growing community of passionate fans.
This year’s three-day event (April 4th-6th) has necessarily moved from its original Bethnal Green location to the spacious Shoreditch Electric Light Station, a beautifully converted old power station, which is now the UK’s leading circus school.
In addition to bringing together the finest brewers in London and the UK, this year’s festival will be returning some Scandinavia’s most exciting breweries and adding some very big American names into the mix.
Described “as a celebration of great beers, passionate brewers, and a true beer city,” this year’s London Craft Beer Festival is not to be missed and along with next September’s The Beavertown Extravaganza, reason enough to start planning your craft beer pilgrimage.
