It was gonna happen eventually…in fact legalized recreational marijuana will probably be the rule of the land everwhere one day.
And we’ve got to admit, the fact that a law legalizing the sale of RECREATIONAL cannabis in Las Vegas kicks-in on a 4th of July weekend, is perfect.
Yes, it’s true…recreational marijuana is now legal in Nevada.
So Sin City, already a mecca for solicited sexual antics, alcoholics, gambling addicts and millions of tourists who visit annually, has “heightened” what they can offer legitimately…
All those bellboys who made a side-living providing illicit smoke to tourists and sales reps have gotta be bummed. The good news is they’ll still be able to move cocaine and other illicit highs on the casino circuit, but as of July 1st visitors to the city can just hit up the local marijuana emporium for any cannabis product they desire.
We can’t help but wonder how long it will take before Caesars Palace has its own pot shop in the lobby…Trust us that’s coming.
Yep, good times and definitely “high times” has come Las Vegas…and besides what could possibly go wrong?

We look back at Prohibition, which gave birth to organized crime and local liquor laws that still hinder the craft beer biz, among other things – and we can’t help but feel that states have the right to determine what is, or is not, prohibited in their states.

That said, Las Vegas, Nevada is a city already renowned for its exuberant excesses (hell, they celebrate it in their marketing campaigns).
And the addition of today’s uber-potent marijuana into an already heady mix, is going to be interesting to watch…just sayin’.
Hey we’ve had our share of too much fun in Las Vegas, and we expect that many of you have as well. So no judgements…okay, maybe a little one.
Still, there are pot enthusiasts everywhere, as there are craft beer lovers. And both our drawn to their ‘drugs of choice’ because they appreciate how they make them feel.
And besides, this is Sin City, one of our nation’s leading tourist destinations…
