It seems like forever since San Diego-based Green Flash Brewing first announced their intention to open an East Coast operation in Virginia Beach. And according to press release we received yesterday from, it appears that the wait will soon be over.
Green Flash Brewing’s new Virginia Beach facility, which officially opens on November 13th, will serve as the East Coast hub for the now bi-coastal brewing company.
Designed to mimic the operations of their West Coast facility, the soon-to-open brewery will afford the company an eventual production capacity of 100,000 annual barrels per year and provide freight efficiencies that will ensure a consistent flow of fresh Green Flash beer up and down the east coast.
Their expansive new tasting room, with up to 30 of their beers on tap, is designed to be family friendly and incorporate the special vibe of this beautiful coastal region. It will also feature a vast beer garden, retail store, extensive brewery tour program and large private-event room and garden.
