German Brewer Hilariously Parodies Calvin Klein Underwear Ad

In spite of how much we enjoyed actor Jeremy Allen White in “The Bear,” we bet he’d take back the video he did in Calvin Klein underwear if he could.

And a Berlin-based brewery is having a field day at the TV star’s expense.

In January Calvin Klein debuted an underwear ad starring Jeremy Allen White the Emmy-award-winning actor who plays chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto  in the hit FX show, The Bear.  It’s a steamy piece of video that features White in total striptease mode (at least down to his Calvin Kline underwear) on an NYC rooftop.

And it racked up more than  four million views on YouTube almost overnight!

And now the Drinks Business is reporting  that German brewing company, BRLO, which humorously describes itself as “the brewery from Berlin whose name you can only pronounce after a few beers” (it is actually the city’s old Slavic name), has created its own version, of that video called Drink NAKED. Yes, Chef!, which is also generating its own share of buzz on the internet.

Filmed on a similar urban high rise rooftop in the German capital, the BRLO ad is the opposite of a vanity project as the ad’s bearded star (with a more beer-friendly bod) parodies White’s original perfectly, while at the same time promoting the brewery’s new alcohol-free Pale Ale, BRLO Naked.
