Exotic Stouts, Lagers And Pale Ales

, Exotic Stouts, Lagers And Pale Ales2021, hopefully a better year, is officially ON.  And we’ve some fun new beer releases to pair with your weekend.

Stout Actions (ST Paul, MN) –After 17 years Summit Brewing is finally bottling a cult favorite that up until now has only been available on draft. Inspired by stouts from the United Kingdom and sporting a roasty sweetness, Summit Oatmeal Stout is a 5% ABV ultra-balanced dark ale with rich coffee, caramel and chocolate notes and a full-bodied finish.

“Oatmeal Stouts tend to not be as acidic as Irish Stouts, so on or off a nitro tap this beer will still retain a sweetness and full body, said Summit head Brewer Damian McConn. “The elevated carbon dioxide levels for the bottled version adds a sharpness to the aromas, really bringing forth the hazelnut notes and even added a hint of florals. It’s a bit fuller, a bit sharper, but just as delicious.”

A Fortunate Find (Longmont, CO) – Left Hand Brewing has a new seasonal that’s inspired by Colorado’s panoramic El Dorado Canyon.  Brimming with big orange and pineapple aromatics as towering as the canyon’s rock formations, Left Hand Found Fortune is an 8.7% ABV dry-hopped Double IPA with bright candied orange, juicy tropical fruits, and fresh-squeezed grapefruit notes and a lightly hazy ambience.

Everyday Beer Here (Longmont, CO) – Oskar Blues has a new addition to its year-round portfolio that’s made for “everyday drinking,” the kind of beer brewed for pairing with another. Crafted using German lagering techniques honed for the brewery’s Slow Chill Lager Series, Oskar’s Lager is an ultra-crisp, uber-smooth 4.2% ABV Lager with only 95 calories and 2.5 carbs per 12oz can.

, Exotic Stouts, Lagers And Pale AlesAn Imperial Concurrence (Athens, GA) – Creature Comforts has a new addition to its Concurrence Series, a continued exploration into barrel-aged stouts paired with the finest quality adjunct ingredients. Crafted with cocoa nibs from Condor Chocolates, Mexican vanilla beans, pecans from Pearson Farm, benne seed, chili peppers, and cinnamon, Creature Comforts Concurrence Blend No. 7 is a massive 13.9% ABV Imperial Stout – a deft blend of apple brandy and bourbon barrel-aged stouts that will not disappoint.
