These are polarizing times and Bud Light has been facing a prolonged backlash following its brief, yet costly, partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender influencer whose image was put on a Bud Light can to celebrate “365 Days of Girlhood.”

Bud Light’s decision to showcase the Trans Tik Tok activist on a special can spurred a Boycott Bud Light! online campaign that launched after a video of Kid Rock shooting up a bunch of bud light beer cans went viral.

Kid Rock hung in there for a while, but on December 10th he  told Tucker Carlson he was done boycotting Bud Light and said the company has learned its lesson.

“They deserved a black eye, and they got one,” Rock told Carlson. “Do I want to hold their head under water and drown them because they made a mistake? No, I think they got the message.”

Rock thinks the company’s partial move from St. Louis to New York City played a role in the campaign, along with their hiring of “Ivy League, progressive people.”

“There’s nothing wrong with giving a spanking,” Rock said. “You don’t spank them for the rest of their life.

And now Donald Trump has taken to social media to call for an end to the Bud light boycott.

On February 6th Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, on Tuesday, and urged his followers to forgive the Belgium-based brewer…

The Bud Light ad was a mistake of epic proportions, and for that a very big price was paid, but Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company,” Trump wrote, noting that that Anheuser-Busch spends $700 million a year with our great farmers” and employs 65,000 Americans.

“Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps deserves a Second Chance?” he continued. “What do you think? Perhaps, instead, we should be going after those companies that are looking to DESTROY AMERICA!”

Trump’s post came just weeks before a top GOP lobbyist for Anheuser-Busch was scheduled to host a fundraiser for the former president’s re-election campaign, according to Politico.
