Bluejacket Wants You To Have a Lost Weekend

Bluejacket, Bluejacket Wants You To Have a Lost Weekend

You might have heard rumors that Washington DC’s  acclaimed designer brewery Bluejacket would soon be making their rightly prized small-batch creation’s available in cans…And starting today the brewery is making that rumor a reality.

Available this Friday, March 2nd at 12pm at Bluejacket’s bottle shop, they’ll be debuting their beloved American-style IPA, Lost Weekend. And because this is their first canned release ever, we expect things could get crazy.

A local legend, among those who care about what they guzzle, Lost Weekend has long been one of Bluejacket’s bestsellers. It’s a deep golden-hued IPA that’s exclusively hopped & dry-hopped with Citra and it deserves to be a DC favorite.

When American Craft Beer is drinking at Bluejacket, or talking the biz with Bluejacket’s Beer Director Greg Engert (always a little too much fun), chances are better than good that we’re drinking a Lost Weekend.

And when this batch of Lost Weekend is gone, it’s gone.  They’re only canning a hundred cases per week…These people need to sleep on occasion.

But the good news is, that starting today, there’s always next week…

Every Monday, Bluejacket will announce the next beer(s) to be canned, and Friday at noon will be the time when anyone can roll up and retrieve them from the brewery.
