This weekend’s collection of winter holiday and New Year’s offerings are dark, festive and cold weather-ready!

Hoppy New Year’s (Portland, OR) – Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB) has announced it will be releasing its special January Hazy IPA on New Year’s Eve.  Fueled on an unapologetic excess of Cascade, Lotus, and Motueka hops, HUB Hindsight 2020 Hazy IPA is a 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale with soft and juicy mouthfeel and subtle notes of lime, orange, vanilla, and berry.

New Year-Round Sour At Ecliptic (Portland, OR) – In January Ecliptic Brewing will be debuting a new All the Time Series release in both draft and 500ml glass bottles. Named after a constellation of stars, Ecliptic Tucana Tangerine Sour Ale is crisp and refreshing 4.8% ABV sunset-hued ale with a citrus twist, a well-balanced tartness and a subtly dry finish.

A cool twist on the New England-Style IPA, Perrin Arctic Chill is a 7% ABV India Pale Ale brewed with specially curated winter wheat, which creates a light, snow-like body, and hopped with Michigan Copper™ and Hallertau Blanc varieties which deliver a fruity menu of floral and citrusy flavors.

A Veiled Threat (Alexandria, VA) – Port City Brewing is returning a fan favorite, which was originally brewed as a Halloween beer. Released with a new look that reflects the brewery’s 2020 brand refresh, Port City Long Black Veil is a 7.5% ABV Black IPA with a complex texture and perfect mix of bitterness and roastiness.

Beer Guide (Raleigh, NC) – Big Boss Brewing has introduced a new year-round offering that’s inspired by the great outdoors and the spirit of adventure. Brimming with classic Pacific Northwest Cascade and Chinook hops, Big Boss Trail Guide IPA is a 6.3% ABV West Coast-Style India Pale Ale with a citrus and pine character and a well-rounded finish.
