A Cosmic Event (Kansas City, MO) – Boulevard Brewing has a new year-round that they describe as “an exhilarating initiation into a mind-bending alternate universe of India Pale Ales.” Brewed with massive hop additions at the end of the boil, as well as during fermentation to minimize bitterness, Boulevard Space Camper Cosmic IPA is a 5.9% ABV India Pale Ale that’s just bursting with tropical fruit flavors.
A New Beer For The New Year (Brooklyn, NY) – The Brooklyn Brewery has a special January release with roots that go back to the earliest days of lagering. Boldly unfiltered and gently bready, Brooklyn Unfiltered is a 4.3% ABV Keller Pils (think Pilsner meets Kolsch) with an uber-smooth finish.
Stout Stuff (Holland, MI) – New Holland Brewing has a new year-round addition to its popular Dragon’s Milk barrel-aged stout franchise that’s a conceptual first. Described a “smooth and creamy,” and pouring white as opposed to pitch black, New Holland Dragon’s Milk White 6% ABV barrel-aged White Stout with hints of oak, vanilla, cocoa and bourbon.
Going Coastal (Cape May, NJ) – Cape May Brewing is getting ready for the upcoming hurricane season with its newest release. Big, bold and blustery, Cape May Coastal Evacuation is a brazen 8% ABV West Coast-style Double IPA with unexpected notes of orange citrus and honeydew melon.
A Bavarian Spring (Boston, MA) – Boston Beer is looking towards spring with a forthcoming seasonal that plays well in February. Brewed using only Noble Tettnang hops, Samuel Adams Bavarian Lager is a 5.5% ABV ‘late winter to spring’ release with floral aromatics and a subtle warmth.
