We love this time of year. The nights are still cold but spring’s getting closer…And although we’re beginning to see some early spring releases, it’s still winter out there and we’ve five buzz-worthy drinking directions that you might want to chase down this weekend!

They Really Love Clint Eastwood (Petaluma, CA) – 101 North Brewing Company has announced the first of three beers celebrating their immense respect for legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood. Brewed with an abundance of Mosaic and Citra Hops, Two Hops For Sister Sara is an 8% ABV Double IPA  that will be followed over the next few months by Dirty Hoppy, a North Beach-style Hazy IPA, and Escape From Alecatraz, a California Common.

Get Peppered! (Milton DE) – Dogfish Head Brewing has a VERY limited that they first debuted at Boston’s Extreme Beer Fest and are making available this weekend at their Delaware compound, WHILE IT LASTS. Brewed using Mace brand pepper spray (that’s right…they used the edible essence of a pepper spray you might use to ward off assailants), IN YOUR MACE! Is a 5.5% ABV smokin’ hot Milk Stout that they actually brewed wearing full body suits, face masks and respirators.
