beer, Beer Run – New Oktoberfest Beers, Coffee Ales And Imperial Porters!

This weekend’s new beer offerings feel like early fall, but that doesn’t mean they’re not fun …So welcome to our first Beer Run for August…And there’s plenty to look forward to here.

Fresh Hop To It (Seattle, WA) –  Two Beer’s Brewing has long taken pride in releasing the first IPA of the season brewed with‘wet hops.’  Returning for its ninth season, Fresh Hop IPA is made with fresh Centennial and Cluster hops from the Puterbaugh Farm in Yakima Valley. The hops are handpicked by dozens of staff and volunteers on the brewery dock…a  process that allows Two Beers to go from hop bine to brew in less than 24 hours for an exceptional finished product.

Alaskan Pumpkin Brewed (Juneau, Alaska) – Alaskan Brewing is returning a new version of a fan favorite from 2014 with an even more aggressive ABV. Taking advantage of Alaska’s long daylight hours which produce some of the largest pumpkins in the world, Alaskan Imperial Pumpkin Porter is 8.5% ABV celebration of harvest season which happens to fall much earlier in the 49th State.

Oktoberfest Seasoned (Durango, C) – Ska Brewing is giving a nod to summer’s end and the early fall festivals to come with its latest release. Crafted with 100 percent German-sourced Munich and Vienna malts that offset an abundance of bright Noble hops, Ska Oktoberfest Lager is a “Durango meets Munich” Märzen with nutty and toasty flavors.beer, Beer Run – New Oktoberfest Beers, Coffee Ales And Imperial Porters!

Filler UP! (Covington, KY) – Braxton Brewing is returning an award-winning lager this weekend that speaks to seasons changing. With a rich malt complexity that is delicately balanced by the addition of noble hops, Braxton Oktober Fuel is an American take on a proud German tradition and is as authentic a Märzen as you’ll find anywhere in the states.

Morning Glory Daze (Gainesville, FL) – Swamp Head Brewing melds morning and evening with an interesting and eye-opening release. Swamp Head Morning Glow is a 5.3% ABV Coffee Blonde Ale brewed with coffee from Gainesville, and pure vanilla bean from Madagascar.
