And as part of that effort they partnered with Beny Ashburn (The Dope) & Teo Hunter (The Dank) the duo behind Crowns & Hops a crowd-funded effort to build a brand and open the first black-owned independent craft brewery to the city of Inglewood, CA.

And now the dynamic duo behind Crowns & Hops, that Time Magazine credit with “Changing the Face of Beer in 2018” have announced that they’ve already exceeded all-crowd-funding expectations and will be launching a series of tasting experiences, events and festival appearances across the United States this summer.

Less than 1% of craft beer breweries are black owned. It’s time to change that narrative. Stone Brewing Introduces A More Affordable World Bistro Menu (Escondido, CA) – –  Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens, who has long taken pride in the fact that their artisan menu didn’t offer the obvious, is bowing to accusations that its food was not only “pretentious” but “too expensive” and changing its menu.

beer, Beer News: The Dope And Dank Tour, Stone Brewing Rethinks Its Bistro CuisineAfter years of complaints from visitors, Stone has finally added a two burgers to its beer cuisine menu.  Both feature Certified Organic, 100% grass-fed, and dry-aged beef directly from Belcampo’s regenerative CA farm and Certified Humane USDA processing facility.

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens Escondido and Liberty Station has also announced a new partnership with DoorDash. And now select World Bistro menu items can be delivered straight to your home,  alongside fresh bottles, cans and crowlers of Stone beer.

What We’ve Been Drinking Lately (Denver, CO) – Seedstock Brewery has released some intriguing beers this year (a gruit no-hops beer, a Grand Marnier-aged beer) and we just hit up something new from them that you might want to chase down. Seedstock Polotmavý is a 5.3% ABC crisp and dry Märzen-style lager that straddles the line between light and dark beers.
