Boston Beer Wins Big At Word Beer Awards
The Boston Beer Company’s Samuel Adams brand, one of the originators of the craft beer movement, dominated the stage in August at the World Beer Awards in the UK with four of its entries winning both Gold and “Best in Country” awards.
Samuel Adams American Light took home a Gold & Best in Country award in the Light Lager category. Samuel Adams American Light also won Bronze at the 2024 Australian International Beer Awards in the American Style Light Lager Category earlier this year.
Samuel Adams Just the Haze was awarded Gold & Best in Country in the No & Low Alcohol IPA category. Just The Haze also won Gold Medal in Non-Alcoholic Beer category at the Great American Beer Festival in 2022.
Samuel Adams Boston Lager took home a Gold & Best in Country in the Amber Lager category and Samuel Adams Summer Ale was awarded Gold & Best in Country in the Pale Ale Seasonal category.

YouGov recently published its 2024 alcohol ranking report which highlights the beer, spirit, hard seltzer, spiked lemonade, and ready-to-drink brands that are registering the highest consideration scores in the US.
YouGov found that 67% of those who drink alcohol say they drink beer, but only 29% of those who drink alcohol reported beer as their favorite alcohol type.
