Fall beer season is here and we’re all about it…And we’ve a number of exciting new seasonal offerings that you might want to track down.
Huckleberry Fine (Fort Collins, CO) – Odell Brewing has just released an intriguing new addition to their Cellar Series. Drawing on the natural tartness of the region’s treasured huckleberries, Odell Ten Paces is a deep purple 6.5% ABV barrel aged Huckleberry Wild Ale with a wealth of fresh fruit flavors and an undeniable funky tartness.
Both Ocean And Oktoberfest Ready (Pacific City, OR) – Pelican Brewing has a new Lone Pelican Series release that may be worth your time. Pelican’s Bronze God is a 5.7% ABV Märzen Lager with a vibrant copper-bronze color and a clean snappy finish.
Beer Erotica (Petaluma, CA) – Lagunitas Brewing is returning a one-off that first saw the light of day back in 1998, as their latest 2017 OneHitter Series release. Described as the brewery’s own unique take on the Farmhouse Ale tradition, Lagunitas Eroica is a 7.4% ABV ‘Belgium meets California’ ale that was brewed using Brettanomyces and aged for up to nine months in red wine barrels.
Seasonal Sorcery (Paso Robles, CA) – Firestone Walker Brewing has taken one of their signature creations and transformed it into something different for the fall and winter season. Brewed with the Colombia La Granadilla blend from HoneyCo Coffee Roasters and cocoa nibs are sourced from Ghana, Firestone Mocha Merlin is their legendary 5.5% ABV lactose-fueled Oatmeal Stout, re-envisioned yet again.
Bonded (Bend, OR) – Deschutes Brewing has a Bond Street Series release coming out any day now, that was brewed using ‘hand-selected’ hops. Using only freshly harvested hops that make their way into the beer’s boil that same day, Deschutes Hop Trip is a 5.8% Fresh Hop Pale Ale with a bright citrus punch to the nose.
