Mega Vega (Portland, OR) – Ecliptic Brewing has announced a new year-round IPA with an evolving variety of hops that showcases never before used hops and more experimental options. Conceived as an opportunity for Ecliptic’s savvy brewers to stretch a little, Vega IPA is a 6.5% ABV ever-changing India Pale Ale…and its first iteration was dry-hopped with Cashmere and Strata.
Bear Republic Unleashes Another Challenger (Cloverdale, CA) – Bear Republic Brewing’s has a new limited release that launches an entirely new series of canned ales for the brewery. Starting juicy but ending bone-dry, Bear Republic Challenge Series #11 is an 11% ABV Double Brut IPA, that’s powered by late additions of over four pounds per barrel of Citra and Galaxy hops.
Control Yourself (Stratford, CN) – Two Roads Brewing has announced a new year-round that could lead to a whole new generation of “control freaks.” Immensely flavorful yet easy to drink, Two Roads Cruise Control is a 4.8% ABV Helles Lager with a delicate bitterness, a touch of sweetness and a crisp, clean finish.
A Hazy Collaboration (Asheville, NC) – Hi-Wire Brewing and their friends at Oskar Blues have teamed up to tap into the “haze-craze.” Unrepentedly fueled to the max with Wataku and Cashmere hops, Hi-Wire/Oskar Blues Haze-Sesh is a 4.9% ABV Hazy Session IPA with a bright and juicy citrus punch.
