Wild Heaven Fest Beer is a 5.5% ABV Märzen Lager brewed with (this one’s new to us, but we do like its name) Grungeist hops.
Sam Adams Sees Red (Boston, Ma) – The Boston Beer Company has just released something seasonal that’s new and exclusive to the Samuel Adams Beers of Fall Variety Pack. Piney and woodland floral, Samuel Adams Spruce Tip Lager is a 5.9% ABV ‘ode to autumn’ that uses real spruce tips and Sour Malt for a smooth yet bracing flavor rush.
49th State Great! (Healy, Alaska) – 49th State Brewing’s Denali compound necessarily, (this is Alaska after all), goes into hibernation every winter. But before they do, they’ve a hop harvest limited release that you might need to try. 49th State Wet Hop Citra is a fragrant and floral 5.5% ABV American IPA brewed using fresh Yakima Valley Citra hops express-shipped to Alaska, served wet and put to good use immediately.
Tasty Stuff From 21st Amendment (San Leandro, CA) – Last year, 21st Amendment partnered up with homebrewer extraordinaire, Mike “Tasty” McDole, on a well-received limited release that disappeared almost immediately…But now they’re bringing it back for a winter to spring run. Derived from test batches of McDole’s own homebrew recipe, 21st Amendment Tasty IPA is a 6.8% ABV India Pale Ale with tropical stone fruit notes and hint of spiciness.
Jolly Pumpkin Subject To Pure Speculation (Dexter, MI) – On September 29th, Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales will release its first non-sour beer packaged in 16oz cans EVER! And in a radical departure for a brewery known for its souring talents… this one’s a straight-ahead IPA! Triple-hopped with a blend of Michigan Cascade and Chinook, as well as Amarillo, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops, Pure Speculation is an 8.2% ABV India Pale Ale that’s been given the Jolly Pumpkin touch.
