Spring is almost over and summer releases on their way…And American brewers everywhere are addressing things with a variety of interesting beer offerings that you may want to chase down.

Not Coasting (Longmont, CO) – Oskar Blues Brewery is kicking off their new Steep Coast Mountain IPA Series, an-ever evolving line of beers that showcase one hop varietal at a time. And this time the Strata hop takes center stage. Oskar Blues Steep Coast Strata DIPA is a dank and earthy 8% ABV Double India Pale Ale that was brewed using the much sought-after Strata varietal from Oregon State University’s lauded hop breeding program…a hop that is characterized by its pronounced green cannabis notes.

Luv Yah (Asheville, NC) – Green Man has launched a new beer that celebrates its hometown of Asheville, an eclectic city beloved for its  music,  beer and arts – as well as the mountains that surround it. Brewed in the spirit of openness and inclusion, Green Man LUV AVL is a dry, light-bodied Brut IPA with pleasing hop aromatics and a bright effervescence shine.

Ruby/Ruby/ Ruby (Rochester, NY) – Genesee Brewery has returned a popular summertime release that melds drinkability with a citrusy tang. Crisp, clean and sessionable, Genesee Ruby Red Kölsch is a 4.5% ABV German-style Golden Ale with a smooth mouthfeel and the right amount of hop bitterness.
