Fall has seriously given way to winter in our latest collection of post-Thanksgiving beer releases…And we’ve eight intoxicating craft beer directions that you’re gonna want to chase down as we go into the holidays.

Box of Chocolates (Crozet, VA) – Starr Hill Brewing has a new winter variety pack that takes a delicious limited release stout in unusual and festive directions. First introduced as part of Starr Hill’s All Access Series, Double Bass Double Chocolate Stout is a rich, 7.8% ABV  Imperial Stout with massive additions of cocoa and a dark chocolate, mocha and vanilla aroma.

Starr Hill Box of Chocolates Stout Pack also features Peppermint, Chipotle, and Mocha Versions of Double Bass Chocolate Stout, all brewed using local, and in some cases, organic ingredients.

Brown Nose (Stevens Point, WI) – Stevens Point Brewery is returning an award-winning seasonal just in time for winter’s squalls. Brewed using savory crushed pistachio nuts, Victory malt, and Palisade hops from the Yakima Valley, Point Snow Pilot is a 6% ABV Pistachio Nut Brown Ale that’s guaranteed to help you navigate the chillier months of the season.

Dark Season – Left Hand Brewing  has released the fourth and final beer from their quarterly Saison series and it’s black as a long winter night.  Brewed using local Colorado barley and roasted midnight wheat, Left hand Saison au Blé de Minuit is a 6.8% ABV Farmhouse-style Black Saison that’s available now…so you know what to do!

Brimming with fresh coffee chocolate and vanilla notes, Hi-Wire 10W-40 is a full-bodied and decadent 8% ABV Imperial Stout that will see limited distribution around December 22nd …so be ready!

Dog Saison Season (Catawba, NC) – Catawba Brewing has a new Specialty Series release, that was named after the family dog. LD’s Belgian Tripel Ale is exactly that, a 10% Belgian-style Strong Ale that is deceptively light in body and unapologetically bursting with fruity yeast esters and spicy phenols.
