New Belgium & Knob Creek’s Special Collaboration (Fort Collins, CO) – Working with Kentucky’s Knob Creek, New Belgium is delving into the barreling aging using breakthrough technology to create an entirely new style of bourbon barrel ale without the barrels. Crafted using Knob Creek Bourbon-soaked oak spirals and barrel char to impart big, full flavor into New Belgium’s high rye base ale, Oakshire Bourbon Barrel Ale, is a full-flavored 9%  ABV Amber Bourbon Ale with huge notes of caramel, vanilla and toasted oak.

A Fall Classic Gets Canned (Raleigh, NC) – Big Boss Brewing is canning its first beer ever… and even better they’ve chosen to go with 16oz cans for their debut! A classic interpretation of a fall tradition that they’ve been crafting for more than a decade, Big Boss Harvest Time is a 5.5% ABV Pumpkin Ale that balances spice and fresh pumpkin meat with a hearty malt backbone.

Darkness Cometh (St Paul, MN) – Summit Brewing is returning the only Unchained Series beer they’ve ever brought back and with good reason. Featuring cold-brew Brazilian coffee beans provided by Saint Paul’s Blackeye Roasting Company, Summit Dark Infusion is a jet black 8.5% ABV Coffee Milk Stout that’s balanced and bold.

And even more surprising it’s a straight-ahead IPA! Brewed with a blend of Michigan Cascade and Chinook hops, and then dry-hoped with Amarillo, Mosaic, and Galaxy hops, Pure Speculation is an 8.2% ABV India Pale Ale that’s a Jolly diversion for the renowned artisan brewer.
