Rotten to the Core (Larkspur CA) – Marin Brewing recently tapped something rotten! Marin Brewing’s Rotten to the Core is a HUMONGOUS 9.5% ABV Strong Wheat Ale that was aged in bourbon barrels for a year with Apple Juice and Brettanomyces Lambicus…so there!
Ommegang’s 20th (Cooperstown, NY) – Brewery Ommegang is celebrating their 20th Anniversary with a special release. Brewed with a carefully curated blend of Munich, Special B, Cara-Vienne, and Blackprinz malts, Ommegang 20th Anniversary Ale is a striking Belgian-style Dark Ale that was aged for more than five months in bourbon barrels.
Eagle Rock Rocks LA (Los Angeles, CA) – Next Tuesday, Eagle Rock Brewery will be releasing the fourth from their seasonal Day Trip Series – canned beers brewed with LA’s natural beauty in mind. Named after California’s beloved folk landscape artifact, Eagle Rock’s Salvation Mountain is a prickly pear Gose brewed for love (and salvation).
Summit Skates (St Paul, MN) – Summit Brewing is releasing a hockey-themed limited release, but it’s only available as part of the brewery’s fall Penalty Box variety 12-pack. Inspired by the Altbier style famous to Germany’s historic Westphalia region and the city of Düsseldorf, Summit High Sticke Alt is a 7.5% German –style Strong Ale with roots that go back centuries.
Dogfish Head Drafted (Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head has a new ‘draft-only’ offering that’s been brewed for the fall season. Dogfish Head Carobock is an 8% ABV Bavarian-style Weizenbock with rich and malty notes of chocolate, bananas and toasted malt.
