Ballast Point Goes To Disneyland

Disneyland, Ballast Point Goes To Disneyland

Looks like Ballast Point Brewing is moving into the ‘happiest place on earth’…and who can blame them.

We’ve always considered the craft beer biz to be an entertainment industry and Ballast Point’s announcement that they’d signed on to open a brewery, tasting room and kitchen in the Downtown Disney District at California’s Disneyland Resort only underscores our perspective.

Scheduled to open in late 2018, Ballast Point’s new family-friendly 7,000-sq. ft. space will house a three-barrel “research and development” brewery along with a restaurant specializing in ‘New American’ cuisine and a designer outdoor beer garden.

Ballast Point’s Downtown Disney District location will be their first in their Orange County and seventh in Southern California.

Ballast Point currently operates six tasting room locations in California, including Long Beach and Little Italy in San Diego, and a new brewery and tasting room in Daleville, Virginia.

The San Diego-headquartered brewery will also soon be opening a brewery and kitchen in Chicago – its first in the Midwest.
