Beavertown’s 7 Sins (London, UK) – American Craft Beer is juiced to be heading to the Beavertown & the Seven Deadly Sins big birthday bash this Friday, one London’s best parties of the year. To celebrate Logan Plant and the Beavertown crew have teamed up with 7 UK brewers/sinners to produce 7 special collaborations for their 7th birthday. With over 34 beers on tap it’s going to be an awesome outing and we promise you…things will get wild!
Presidential TV Time & Streaming – With this being a long President’s Day weekend, consider some presidential viewing and there’s all kinds of directions you can go. There’s presidential romance (The American President, Dave). There’s presidential intrigue (All the President’s Men, Thirteen Days, the Contender). There is presidential comedy (Dr. Strangelove, Mars Attacks, Wag the Dog). Then there’s our favorite sub-genre, presidential horror (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter). And if you’re feeling cynical, there’s always House of Cards on Netflix.
Zwickelmania 2019 Returns This Weekend (Oregon) – Zwickelmania, Oregon’s annual state-wide celebration that’s been described as a “backstage pass to Oregon’s best breweries” returns to the Pacific Northwest this weekend for the first for what has now become two weekends of fun.
Portland Area Breweries will be participating in the first weekend of Zwickelmania 2019, this Saturday February 16th from 11am to 4pm. And the rest of the state will partake in next weekend’s celebrations on Saturday, February 24th. In 2018 over 42,500 people toured Oregon’s more than 120 breweries and now with it taking place over a two weekend period, we expect this year might tp be even bigger.
