Beer Mansion in Brooklyn (NYC) – The Brooklyn Brewery is returning its annual spectacle of beer, music, food and madness to their home borough this weekend for two days and nights (April 13th-14th) of serious drinking, music and fun.
Beer Mansion
combines four distinct kinds of parties within the mansion’s walls: The Show (music) The Bazaar (arty pop-ups), The Arcade (games), and The Speakeasy (jazzy drinking vibe!). On any other night, you would have to pick and choose which you would attend, but at Beer Mansion, Brooklyn Brewery’s uber-creative celebration filled with games, music, tech, surprises, and of course, beer it’s all under one roof.
On The Big Screen – Since it’s Friday the 13th weekend (yeah we’ve made it a whole weekend celebration) you’ve got to be thinking creepy horror thrillers. And although Rampage does star Dwayne Johnson and a giant gorilla wreaking havoc on Chicago, A Quiet Place is truly scary and is one of the best reviewed movies of 2018!
TV Time & Streaming – Given that this our Friday The 13th Weekend Picks we suggest, popcorn, several beers and anything from the Friday the 13th horror franchise. We think 1984’s Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter is possibly the best of the series, but the original Friday the 13th from 1980 is still a classic!
THE ACB WEEKEND BEER PLACE PICK
With things warming this weekend we’ll be turning to something tart and sassy from Rogue Ales …a beer inspired by POG, a classic Hawaiian tropical fruit juice hybrid. Rogue Paradise Pucker is a 6% ABV Sour Ale that was crafted using passion fruit, orange peel, and pink guava.
