London Calling! (United Kingdom- The London Craft Beer Festival 2018 kicks off this weekend and runs from the 3rd-5th. This is annual event, one of the best in England, signals the busy end of summer craft beer calendar in the UK. More than 100 breweries from the UK, but also from the US, Italy, Spain, Sweden and more are contributing to the ‘live’ beer list of hundreds of brews. Not to mention some killer DJs and food at the new expanded location, Tobacco Docks. Entry is for set times and unlimited pours. Make sure to check out the Vaults where there will be some truly special tastings and brews hiding below.
On The Big Screen – This week’s big movie openings run the gamut from Young Adult sci-fi (The Darkest Minds) to stupid comedies (the Spy That Dumped Me). So we suggest that you either spend the weekend drinking or check out Mission: Impossible – Fallout which opened last weekend and is getting rave reviews.
One Of The Best Parties This Summer(Elk Rapids, MI) – This Saturday, August 4th Short’s Brewing will be presenting its 9th annual Short’s Fest 2018, an epic evening of Short’s Brews, Starcut Ciders, live music, and artisan foods. With SPECIAL performances by May Erlewine, Michigan Rattlers, and Paddlebots, and two specialty bottle releases (Set Phasers to Love and The Ooze), this is one party you absolutely don’t want to miss.
