THE AMERICAN CRAFT BEER – QUICK HITS

We blame the industry for this… It used to be that when we wrapped up our Weekend Picks on Friday, we could coast through the weekend. But clearly all that’s changed. So here’s some of what’s happened in the world of craft beer while you were off enjoying yourself.

Terrified that they might lose market share, the fight against legal marijuana is not surprisingly being quietly bankrolled by different alcohol groups throughout the country. It’s also being funded by Big Pharma, but that’s another story altogether.

Evil Twin Building In Bushwick (NYC) – Having established its presence as a gypsy brewer in 2010, Evil Twin Brewing has reportedly begun the process of building a new production brewery and taproom in the Bushwick neighborhood of New York, that will hopefully open “before the summer of 2017.”
