According to The Drinks Business the company has put beer aside at their Catersville, Georgia brewery so they can concentrate 100% of their efforts on canning clean water that is now so desperately needed

Tapping into their extensive distribution arm, the world’s biggest beer company has harnessed a network of more than 400 distributors and have already shipped 150,000 cans to various locations.

Sarah Schilling, the brewmaster at AB InBev’s Catersville operation, said in a statement:

“Throughout the year, we periodically pause beer production at our Cartersville, Georgia brewery to produce emergency canned drinking water so we are ready to help out communities across the country in times of crisis.

Putting our production and logistics strengths to work by providing safe, clean drinking water is the best way we can help in these situations.”
