InBev, AB InBev Announces New UK President

The world’ largest brewing company, has named its new North Europe president. And HER name is Paula Lindenberg which is great to see.

Here’s the deal…

Currently Vice President of Marketing for Ambev (which translates as “”Americas’ Beverage Company”— the Belgian-owned brewing giant’s Brazilian business

According to the Drinks Business, Lindenberg will be joining North Europe’s operations which oversees the United Kingdom and Ireland, and move into her new role as President at the start of 2019.

A 17-year vet of the global beer company, Lindenberg has held a number of key roles in South America and the United States throughout her tenure, and has been responsible for Ambev’s important Latin American brands, including Skol, Brahma and Antarctica.

The news comes one month after AB InBev’s recent announcement that UK president Jason Warner would be leaving his current position to oversee its overall European business.

Warner was clearly excited that Lindenberg would serve as his replacement adding that she has “contributed hugely to our Latin American business, leading its growth strategy, expanding its premium beers and reconnecting the business with its brewing heritage,”

“I have no doubt that she will bring her own brand of creative vision and energy to these shores.”
