New Aged (Baltimore, MD) – Heavy Seas Beer is returning an Uncharted Waters Series classic and it’s as twisted as ever. Blackbeard’s Breakfast is a 10% ABV Robust Porter with a New World twist. Aged in bourbon barrels and enriched with Dark Sumatra coffee, this earthy American take on a proud English tradition is at once flavorful and complex.

Frugi-Forward (St Louis, MO) – Schlafly Beer has a fruit-forward summertime lager which they recently released as part of their super-cool Frugi-Four Sampler Pack. Schlafly Watermelon Lager, is a 4.5% ABV bright and malty Helles Lager with fresh watermelon purée added to the fermentation process.

Orange, Honey, Spice & Nice (Rochester, NY) – The Genesee Brew House, Genesee Brewing’s 20 barrel small batch division has just released a new, fruity take on an American classic. Brewed with just the right amount of hop bitterness to round out the honey and citrus, Genesee Brew House Orange Honey Cream Ale is a 6% ABV light-bodied pilot batch release that’s deftly spiced to perfection.

Flemish Flamed (Cooperstown, NY) – Brewery Ommegang will be shipping a new sour brown limited release this month, that they crafted with Liefmans, their sister brewery in Oudenaarde, Belgium. Ommegang Brunetta is a 5% ABV traditional Oud Bruin with sweet and sour tones and a rich nutty finish.

This year’s Kriek is a 7.5% ABV blend of sour red ales that were aged in oak wine barrels for up to 17 months with Bing and sour pie cherries. Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss!
