Grapefruit & Blood (Asheville, NC) – Wicked Weed Brewing is returning a fruit-forward favorite that debuted to huge buzz just last year. Bright and obviously citrusy, Wicked Weed Hop Burglar is a 7% ABV India Pale Ale that’s infused with fresh blood orange and grapefruit zest.
Raspberry Timed (Houston, TX) – Saint Arnold has melded a great German Brewing tradition with the season’s best berries in a recent release – and the world may never be the same. Fueled on almost 3000 pounds of fresh raspberries that were pumped into their classic Boiler Room Berliner Weisse, Saint Arnold Raspberry AF is a 3.6% ABV fruit-forward Berliner Weisse, that’s all fruity yet tart at the same time.
Hazy, Juiced and Effective Immediately! (San Diego, CA) – Modern Times Beer has a new collaboration that they did with Portland, Oregon’s Great Notion Brewing that’s got us excited. Citrus toned and sporting an uber-fruity nose, Modern Time Effective Dreams (we’d like some background on that name) is a cloudy 7.25 ABV IPA, that’s available now in 16oz cans.
Ready For The 420 (Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater Brewing recently debuted a new Dank Tank Series release that was brewed with their annual 420 Fest, (held every April in downtown Atlanta) in mind. Pumped on a medley of Simcoe, Mosaic and Waimea hops that are tethered to a mahogany-rich malt backbone, SweetWater Wookie Down is a 7.6% Imperial Red Ale that should pair brilliantly with music by Widespread Panic.
Sour, Sweet and Neat (Ft Collins, CO) – New Belgium Brewing is looking to warmer weather and returning a well-revived seasonal release that they first debuted in 2016. Upping the ante on two fronts of fruit-forwardness, New Belgium Juicy Watermelon Ale is 5% ABV sweet and sour refresher that’s brewed with both watermelon and lime peel.
