5 Big Craft Beers For The Season

, 5 Big Craft Beers For The SeasonDecember is ON… and we’ve some BIG craft beers for the season. Plus we’ve a special release from Green Flash that you’ll want to get your sweaty little hands on.

A Divine Rarity (San Diego, CA) – Green Flash has announced the release of the third limited-edition, rare beer in their Cellar 3 Barrelmaster’s Reserve series and we have to admit this one sounds killer. Green Flash Divine Enebro is a massive 10.8% ABV Belgian-style Tripel that’s been aged in gin barrels with botanicals added to replicate the notes found in classic gin cocktails. Available only at the brewery, this Saturday, December 10th Enebro will be sold on a “first come first served” basis. But do come early because only 600 bottles were produced.

Evil Twin And Westbrook Collaborate (Mt Pleasant, SC) – Evil Twin has been contract brewing their American releases at Westbrook down in South Carolina for a while now. So the real question is “what kind of beer would these two legendary breweries come up with together?” Well the answer is Evil Twin/Westbrook Imperial Mexican Biscotti Cake Break, a 10.5% Imperial Stout that’s brewed with coffee, cinnamon, almonds, cocoa nibs, vanilla and habanero peppers added (whew!).

, 5 Big Craft Beers For The SeasonRum Roomed (San Marcos, CA) – The Lost Abbey is returning a treasured ale that was first released in 2015 and were pretty damned excited that it is! Aged in rum barrels for over 14 months, Santo Ron Diego is an enormous 13.5% ABV sweet and complex Strong Ale that’s brewed with cherries, vanilla beans, and cacao nibs.

Passionfruit, Orange And Guava = POG (Kihei, Hawaii) – Maui Brewing has a new citrusy IPA that’s fueled on all locally grown tropical fruits  and Enigma, El Dorado, Jerrylo, and Citra hops. Maui POG IPA is a 7.1% India Pale Ale that’s brewed (as we’ve already explained) with FRESH Passionfruit, Orange and Guava.

, 5 Big Craft Beers For The SeasonChristmas In DC (Washington, DC) – With the winter holidays soon upon us and all the stress that sometimes comes with it, DC Brau is retuning a legendary seasonal to help you survive. DC Brau Alpha Domina Mellis is an 8.5% ABV Double IPA brewed with gallons of wildflower honey from Burnside Farms in Haymarket, Virginia and locally-grown barley that was malted by Pilot Malthouse.
