As most of you undoubtedly know, the 2019 Craft Brewers Conference is taking place this week in Denver, and there’s not a better industry event on the face or the planet. And Monday night’s kickoff parties are looking like serious fun…
CBC Welcome Reception: A Brewer’s Life – Monday, April 8th (6:30pm – 9pm)
On Monday night the Brewers Association will be kicking things off with a massive party taking place on several levels of the sprawling Colorado Conference Center. A Brewers Life celebrates Colorado culture, music, performances with four different experience to immerse yourself in…with some of the best breweries in Colorado providing tastings of their beers.
Urban Life @5280 which will be held in the Convention Center’s Grand Corridor will showcase Denver’s urban lifestyle with high energy music, break dance performances and custom graffiti art of local artist Pat Milbery.
The Festival Beat will be held that night in the Grand Corridor / Bellco Theater section of the Convention center. This will be more of a Burning Man Music Festival themed party experience, (think a rave but with beer) with a special performance by local American Funk/Jazz band The Motet.
Outdoor Adventure in Lobby C will celebrate Colorado’s outdoor vibe and its many State Parks, Federal Lands and Private Campground (think camping out with beer). There will be music by Colorado rock band Tangled Senses, Colorado wilderness ambiance to enjoy while sampling a beer.
Oktoberfest Colorado Style in Upper Lobby D will offer a unique spin on the traditional Oktoberfest in a chic mountain lodge, where you can enjoy the music of La Pompe Jazz, a Denver based gypsy jazz group.
Dogfish Head’s Sam Calagione with Cracker in Philly
CBC Kickoff with Dogfish Head + Stone – Monday, April 8th (8:30pm – 9pm)
Dogfish Head’s CBC parties are legend (people are still talking about what they did in Philly). And we NEVER miss them. This year they’ve partnered with Stone Brewing so you know things are going to get crazy at the Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Denver, with music by The Gin Doctors and Dogfish Head’s Sam Calagione and Stone’s Greg Koch in party mode.
Getting Down to Brass Tacks: A CBC Late Night Kickoff Party – Monday, April 8th (9pm – 1am)
Ratio Beerworks will be partying into the morning with a late-night throwdown at Brass Tacks that’s not to be missed. Join Ratio along with TRVE Brewing, Outer Range Brewing Co., Call to Arms Brewing Company, Revolution Brewing, Brewery Bhavana, and Threes Brewing for an evening to remember (if you can).
