Nashville, The 2018 Craft Brewers Conference Does Nashville

Craft Beer’s most important industry gathering, the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo America® will be making its way to Nashville next spring. And If you’re in the craft beer biz, have friends in the industry, or hope to work in it yourself one day, you need to be there.

Presented by the Brewers Association, the Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) is the world’s largest beer and brewing event and it attracts over 13,000 brewing professionals and some of the biggest names in the biz.

The CBC is held in different cities annually (it was in Philadelphia in 2016 and in DC last year) and next spring (April 30th-May 3rd) it will be touching down in Nashville for four days of enlightening industry talk and SERIOUS fun.

CBC 2018 will also present BrewExpo America, the nation’s leading trade show for craft brewers featuring more than 700 exhibitors… and it’s a great opportunity for professionals to explore the newest products and services that the industry has to offer.

First launched in Boulder Colorado in 1996, the Craft Brewers Conference has grown massively in scope and scale over the years…And the 35th annual CBC will showcase 70 seminars and a vast array of industry voices, across 12 different educational tracks.

Deb Carey, the founder and president of New Glarus Brewery, will make 2018’s keynote address. And Brewers Association Director Paul Gatza and Chief Economist Bart Watson, will deliver their always insightful State of the Industry Address.

CBC 2018 will also be home to the World Beer Cup, often referred to as “the Olympics of Beer.”

Developed in 1996 to celebrate the art and science of brewing, the World Beer Cup continues to generate global awareness about different beer styles and flavor profiles while promoting international brewing excellence.

Nashville, The 2018 Craft Brewers Conference Does NashvilleIn 2016 the World Beer cup saw record numbers…6,596 beers were entered by 1,907 breweries representing 55 countries and judged by an elite international panel of 253 experts from 31 countries.

This year’s competition is expected to be unforgiving, as craft brewing continues to attract an even broader universe around the globe.

And with Nashville, Tennessee (home to legendary country music venues like the Grand Ole Opry House and the Country Music Hall of Fame) hosting the CBC in 2018, next year’s Craft Brewers Conference promises to be one for the books!

If you’re thinking about attending next April it’s always smart to REGISTER EARLY.
