Molson Coors Overhauls Golden Colorado Brewery
On October 6 Molson Coors broke ground on a massive multiyear overhaul of its brewery in Golden, Colo., that will improve its brewing performance, flexibility and productivity.
The multi-hundred-million-dollar investment,(!) will completely overhaul the beer-making infrastructure at the massive brewery, which ranks as one of the largest in the world, according to according to Beer & Beyond. “It includes the addition of more-efficient fermenting, aging and filtration facilities, as well as a state-of-the-art upgrade to the so-called government cellars where the brewery stores beer prior to packaging.”
The project, which is slated to stretch well into 2024, is dubbed G150 (a nod to the upcoming 150-year anniversary of Adolph Coors’ launch in 1873) and will also reduce energy and water usage by 15% each and waste by 35%.

Bottle Logic Shuts Doors After Staff Member Tests Positive For Covid-19
On Oct 8 Anaheim, Ca-based Bottle Logic Brewing took to Instagram to announce that it had ceased all brewery operations including bottle pickups and online sales after learning that one of its staff members had tested positive for COVID-19.

Last night our team was notified that one of our staff members tested positive for COVID-19. We’d like to provide the assurance that the affected staff member does not perform any manner of guest-facing work, but to best ensure everyone’s safety, we are ceasing all operations in order to trace potential exposure and take our next steps with care and deliberation.
We will be conducting extensive testing of our entire team and continuing CDC-guided sanitation of our spaces. Bottle pick-up for Gem Condition Eventbrite orders will be extended through the end of October.
The brewery will be professionally cleaned today and closed until further notice — we are deeply committed to the safety of our entire team and our guests. We appreciate your support and look forward to innovating with you again soon.
