Victory and Southern Tier brewing, who combined their organizations under the Artisanal Brewing Ventures banner in 2016, announced today that they’ll be teaming up to open a new experimental brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina’s uber-hot Lower South End neighborhood.

The state-of-the-art 28,000 square ft. facility will feature a custom-built 25BBL production brewhouse, a fermentation cellar, packaging lines and a fully equipped quality assurance lab.brewing, Victory And Southern Tier To Open New Brewery In Charlotte

Plans also include an expansive tasting room, a patio that looks upon Charlotte’s skyline, private indoor/outdoor event spaces, and a beer garden. It will also serve as a hub for ABV’s corporate offices.

A considerable advancement of their combined brands into the south, Southern Tier and Victory plan to use this new brewhouse as a hub to craft new regional innovations specific to Charlotte and the Carolinas

Southern Tier and Victory brewers will also use their new Queen City brewhouse to work together and craft on in-house collaborations, yet another cool step in their growing alliance.

The decision to choose the Charlotte location was based on a number of factors.

But one significant reason, in addition to Charlotte’s vibrant growth, was the fact that the city has seen a major influx of relocations of late from Southern Tier and Victory’s core markets of Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Ohio.brewing, Victory And Southern Tier To Open New Brewery In Charlotte

And North Carolina’s emergence as one of the East Coast’s most important craft beer destinations, remains another undeniable calling card.
