Cellar This! (Ft Collins, CO) – Odell Brewing has just released the newest addition to their acclaimed Cellar Series. A collaboration of sorts with Ft Collins neighbor and partner-in-crime Old Elk Distillery, who provide some of bourbon barrels the brewery uses for aging their beer, Odell Bull Proof, is a pitch-black 12% ABV Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with seductive sweet vanilla, soft oak, and deep molasses notes.
Easy Does It (Eugene, OR) – Ninkasi Brewing has just introduced a new year-round that’s been crafted for drinking several. Ninkasi Yours Truly Easy Drinking Ale is exactly that, a 4.3% ABV effervescent refresher with a lightly floral, flavor profile and an uber-clean finish.
Dry Hopped And Draft Only (Denver, CO) – River North Brewing will be celebrating their sixth anniversary this weekend with another variation on the hazy IPA phenomenon. And as is the case with the best NEIPAs, it’s a draft-only release. Described as their juiciest take yet on River North’s New England IPA to date, Double Dry Hopped Mountain Haze is bursting with huge notes of coniferous mango and berry and they arre not apologizing for the more than seven pounds per barrel of hops that were used in this very limited release.
Juiced! (Abita Springs, LA) – Abita Brewing has introduced something new and with it comes a new style designation as well. Described as a “Juicy Pale” the result of it being brewed with a reckless abundance of Cascade, Citra and Ekuanot hops, Abita Hop-On is a 6% ABV Pale Ale that uses a unique brewing process to produce it’s vibrant light gold color and distinctive haze.
Snap To It (Boston, MA) – The Boston Beer Company is returning a popular spring seasonal that was first introduced in 2013. Brewed with a golden wheat and a lively blend of specially sourced spices from all around the world, Samuel Adams Cold Snap is a crisp, refreshing 5,3% ABV Belgian‐style White Ale with a floral and spicy character that never overpowers.
